About Dhee

Experience

Dhee has lived in DC for 15+ years and has intimate knowledge of property trends across the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) metropolitan area.  He has represented clients with their real estate transactions in DC, MD, and VA. He is an experienced property owner himself, who has bought and sold his own homes in multiple states.  He understands firsthand that buying and/or selling a home is one of the most significant personal and financial decisions a person makes. Dhee brings additional knowledge and experience in real estate from architectural and economics studies and his rental property investments across multiple states.  He also sat on the Board of Trustees for a large (760+ unit) condominium and retail property for over five years, where he gained strong experience in condominium property management, operations, and ownership. Dhee has a genuine passion for real estate and brings a blend of experience and insight to provide clients with sound guidance on their property transactions.

Dhee understands the complexity and challenges of real estate transactions. He takes a patient, personalized approach to learn each client's personal preferences and financial goals for property ownership or sale.  He strives to inform and educate clients with market trends and insights as well as functional property characteristics to help each client evaluate their options and make informed decisions based upon their personal preferences and criteria. Each sale or purchase has unique elements and varies based upon property type, location, ownership, purpose, and many other factors. Dhee provides personalized guidance and support end-to-end throughout the real estate transaction process.

He practices clear, extensive communication throughout the process and builds rapport with all parties. He is highly focused on orchestrating deals and negotiating the best outcomes based upon each client's objectives.  He is resourceful and can provide clients with various third-party service contacts including movers, lenders, repairs, home insurance, or other needs related to the transaction.  Buying or selling real estate is serious business and can be stressful, but he believes you can have fun doing it. Dhee helps with the heavy lifting and strives to make the home buying and selling process more convenient, manageable, and an overall enjoyable experience.

Additional Experience

Dhee brings strong analytical capabilities and a robust background of knowledge and perspective from other career experiences including Management Consulting, IT, business startup, teaching, and molecular biology research. Among several transferable skills, his is experience in business process improvement from the non-profit training center of excellence he co-founded in Nairobi, Kenya enhances his ability to help customize the end-to-end real estate transaction process for each client. Dhee enjoys learning and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from top-tier universities. Beyond careers, Dhee has traveled extensively to over 20 countries and enjoys exploring cities for food, museums, art, architecture, theater, sports, live music, and standup comedy.  His recreational hobbies include playing tennis, basketball, ultimate frisbee, cycling, swimming, and chess.
